As a professional massage therapist for 20 years, Gwen has learned, practiced, and mastered many different styles of massage in various settings, from hospitals to professional sports, massage clinics to private practice. She has worked with people of all backgrounds and health histories including those dealing with chronic pain, race car drivers at major international speedways, passengers on private yachts, and at many resorts. 

A graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, she has a degree in natural healthcare, is a member of AMTA, and is licensed in the Commonwealth of VA. In addition to ongoing continuing education, her experience includes extensive international travel and work in both clinical settings and exclusive spas. She blends traditional Swedish massage with other styles such as deep tissue, trigger point release, Cranial Sacral, Reiki, sports massage, assisted stretching, and hot stone.

She attended Erik Dalton's Freedom from Pain Institute for myoskeletal work and received her 42-hour certificate in manual lymphatic drainage. And she recently received her certificate in Bodywork for Depression & Anxiety.

Gwen develops personal therapeutic plans to meet individual goals and pain management.
